Miscreants damage banners congratulating new Speaker U T Khader

Mangaluru, June 17, 2023: Unidentified miscreants have damaged the banners put up in Ullal area congratulating the newly elected Speaker of State Assembly U T Khader who also represents Mangaluru (Ullal) Assembly constituency. The incident took place on June 16, Friday night.

 

The banners were put up from near Thokkottu overbridge till Abbakka Circle. However the same were damaged. Police who are inspecting CCTV footages have reportedly got information that two men who came by a two-wheeler late in the night resorted to this act.

Police said no complaint has been lodged by anyone regarding the damage to banners as the same were put up without prior permission from the local administration.
