Minister S. Angara hospitalized after suffering from Dengue

Sullia, Nov 27, 2022: Minster for Port, Fisheries and Inland Water transport S Angara has been admitted to KVG Hospital in Sullia after suffering from Dengue, sources said.

According to the reports, the BJP leader was suffering from a fever for a couple of days and upon testing, he tested positive for Dengue.

This year Karnataka has reported the highest cases of Dengue in the past six year period. Bengaluru city reported 1,300 cases, while Mysuru had 700, Udupi 505, Chitradurga 356 and Dakshina Kannada had 330 cases in the last week of October. Out of the four people who have died two are from Udupi while Vijayapura and Chikkaballapur have reported one death each.
