Minister Ashok holds meeting with officials on losses suffered due to cyclone Tauktae

Mangaluru, May 17, 2021:      State Revenue Minister R Ashok who arrived in the city on May 17, Monday to  get a firsthand account of the losses  due to the impact of cyclone Tauktae in the district,  held a meeting with officials at the NMPT office.

He also met the nine personnel of the Coromandel  Express Tug who were rescued from mid sea today in a joint operation by Coast Guard and Indian Navy.

The Minister is scheduled to visit the places affected by the cyclone later in the evening.
