The Congress Party north block president, K Suresh Ballal, and party leaders, Kallige Taranath Shetty and M G Hegde have alleged the government for generating a new problem by hiking milk price by Rs 4. The governments move will create injustice, especially for the poor, they said.

They accused the BJP party, which had raised voice for hiking milk price by Rs 2 when Revanna was the chairman of KMF. The ruling party is not following any promises given at the time of election. The present hike of milk price came after the conclusion of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike election, they alleged.
