Milagres Church lays foundation stone for housing project

Mangalore, Feb 14: Milagres Church organized the foundation stone laying ceremony for a housing project near Bondel as part of its Centenary Year celebrations on Feb 14, Sunday. 

Monsignor Fr Dennis Moras Prabhu, the vicar of Mangalore Diocese, blessed the foundation stone. Prayer sessions formed part of the ceremony. 









Marcel Monteiro, the convener of the Jubilee Committee, made the welcome speech. The master of ceremonies was Deacon Ivan. 

Leslie J Fernandes is sponsoring the entire housing project in honor of the late Cynthia Fernandes. 

Fr. Walter D’Mello, the parish priest of Milagres, and Marcel Monteiro, the president of Milgares Centenary Committee, also participated in the programme.
