Massive protest in Mulki demanding justice to Sowjanya

Mangalore, Nov 3, 2013: “ Mahesh Shetty Timarody, President of Prajaprabhutva Vedike has said  that there was no question of getting bogged down or resting until justice is done in the Sowjanya rape and murder case.

Addressing a huge protest meeting held   near Lalith Mahal  in Mulki on November 2, Saturday,Thimarody said  there should be a CBI probe under Supreme Court surveillance so that the real culprits are brought to book. He said that they were ready for any amount of sacrifice for justice in the case.

 

 

Sri Esha Vittaldasa Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Ashram made it clear that the protest was not against any individual or Kshetra but was targeted against the real culprits  who committed the heinous act.

Kusumavathi, mother of Sowjanya, in her address, made an ardent request to the gathering to support them in their fight for justice. She also said they were being constantly followed by some elements wherever they went.

Civic Forum President Vinod Salian, Sowjanya’s father Chandappa Gowda and several others were present.
