Mangalore, Nov 13, 2012 : The Ullal-based Maruthi Yuvaka Mandala organized a dance competition as part of its silver jubilee celebrations in Town Hall on Nov 11, Sunday. Lexmi Kumaran, corporation communication deputy manager for MRPL, inaugurated the event, in which around 45 teams took part.

The competition was organized with the intention of best dance troupes to perform on the occasion of the Ullal Beach Festival, which coincides with the Maruthi Yuvaka Mandala’s silver jubilee celebration. Organized along the lines of the Panambur Beach Festival, the Ullal Beach Festival will have a star evening, a dance festival, a food festival, beach games, sand art, and a kite show.

Yatheesh Baikampady, convener of the Beach Festival Committee, Geetha Kishore, Harish Puthran, and others were also present.
