Market at Kallaup near Ullal gutted in fire mishap

Mangaluru, June 10, 2024: A fire mishap in the global market at Kallaup in Ullal during the wee hours of Sunday has resulted in loss of goods worth several lakhs of rupees. There were many shops in the market place and all of them have suffered extensive damage with the products in the shops including fruits and vegetables perishing in the fire. Fire tender vehicles rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

An electricity short circuit is said to the cause of the fire.
