Manjeshwar man drowns in Kumaradhana Bathing Ghat

Sullia, Aug 21, 2013: A man hailing from Pavoor Koppala in Manjeshwara met a watery grave while having a sacred bath in the Kumaradhara Bathing Ghat on August 19, Monday. The deceased is Sachin (43).

           

He had been to Subrahmanya along with his family for Naga Dosha Parihara  during the course of visit to various pilgrim shrines following an Ashta Mangala Prashne. It is learnt, he slipped and drowned while having a bath. He was washed away even as his family members watched helplessly as there were no life guards in the area.
