Manipal gang rape : Cops file charge sheet before Udupi court

Manipal, Aug 22, 2013: The Manipal Police who are investigating into the case of  gang rape of a medical student of Manipal University, have submitted the charge sheet before the Udupi Court on August 22, Thursday.

 

 The charge sheet is filed against the main accused namely Yogish, Hariprasad and Anand and also against Harindra and Balachandra for  helping the main accused to destroy evidences. The police have also submitted the forensic report which can be a major evidence in the case.

All the five accused are in judicial custody till August 26. The hearing in the case is likely to begin soon.
