Manipal: Student among 3 arrested for drugs peddling

Udupi, April 27, 2023: Manipal police have arrested three drug peddlers including a student and have seized 22.11 grams MDMA worth nearly Rs 2.3 lakhs.

 

Those arrested are Akshay Kumavath (36), a student of MIT and resident of Maharashtra, Srinivas Gowda (31) of Sarjapur, Bengaluru and Isac Shyam (29) of Banasavadi. The accused were reportedly supplying drugs to students in Udupi and Manipal.
