Manipal: Bike rams into divider; rider dies

Manipal, Oct 18, 2023: A young bike rider lost his life after he lost control over his vehicle which eventually rammed into the divider near the BM School on the National Highway at Parkala on October 18, Wednesday morning.

 

The deceased is Akshay Bhat (26) from Hiriyadka. He was a cook by profession and was on way to a temple at Indrali to prepare food for the Sarvajanika Anna Santharpane on account of Navaratri.

Akshay sustained serious head injuries and died before being admitted to hospital.
