
Mangaluru, May 28, 2026: Cricket fans in the coastal city are set to enjoy a stadium-like experience as the BCCI has organised the ‘TATA IPL Fan Park’ in Mangaluru, according to BCCI representative Vikas Pandit.
Addressing a press conference at the Press Club in the city, he said elaborate arrangements have been made to bring the excitement of the IPL Play-offs and Final matches to cricket lovers free of cost. The Fan Park will be set up at the Karavali Utsav Grounds at Lalbagh (Martin Pais Road).
The IPL Play-off match scheduled for May 29 and the IPL Final on May 31 will be screened live on giant mega screens. Entry to the venue will be free for the public from 5.30 pm onwards on both days, he said.
The Fan Parks are being organised in 50 major cities across the country, and entry for cricket enthusiasts in Mangaluru will be completely free. Along with live match screenings, the venue will feature music, fun games by official sponsors, food stalls, beverages, and IPL merchandise counters.
Vikas Pandit said the initiative aims to provide every cricket fan with the thrill and atmosphere of watching a match inside a stadium.
He further stated that the craze for IPL Fan Parks has increased significantly this season compared to previous editions, with over 10 lakh cricket fans across the country expected to take part in the celebrations.
He appealed to cricket fans from the coastal region to visit the Karavali Utsav Grounds in large numbers, support their favourite teams and players, and make the cricket festival a grand success.
