Mangaluru ranked 20th in Ease of Living Index : Mayor Premananda Shetty

Mangaluru, Mar 04, 2021:     Premananda Shetty, the new Mayor of Mangaluru has informed that the city  of Mangaluru has been ranked 20th in the Ease of Living Index and 42nd in the Municipal Performance Index (MPI)  in the 2020 assessment conducted by the Union Ministry for Urban Development.

 

 

 

 

 

The ranking was released by Union Minister for Housing Affairs Hardeep S Puri at a virtual conference  on March 4, Thursday.

The Mayor who also spoke about Smart City Projects said  assessment of the projects need active public participation.

Deputy Mayor Sumangala Rao and other corporators were present.
