Mangaluru: Yet another Lokayukta raid on MCC office

Mangaluru, June 26, 2025: Lokayukta officials have once again raided the office of the Mangaluru City Corporation on Wednesday and have scrutinized documents.

This time the investigation is centered around the office of the MCC Joint Commissioner Ravikumar M following complaints of financial irregularities and misuse of power against him. The officials scrutinized documents in the office of the joint commissioner till late evening. Ravikumar is set to retire on June 30.

Earlier on June 21 and 23, Lokayukta teams had raided the health, engineering, town planning offices of the MCC as well as the MCC Commissioner’s office when several irregularities came to light. A broker was also found in possession of Rs 5 lakhs during the raid.
