Mangaluru, December 29, 2025: BJP district president Satish Kumpala said that the town panchayat elections were held successfully and congratulated all party workers who worked hard for the party’s victory in the Bajpe–Kinnigoli Panchayat.

He said the party was fortunate to understand the sentiments of the people and noted that minority voters had also extended their support to the BJP. According to him, the people of the region have given a clear answer to the government on the kind of development carried out by the Congress in the district.

He stated that Congress had been in power for several years, and despite being in power in the state even now, voters have once again chosen the BJP. Referring to certain untoward incidents that occurred in Bajpe, he questioned how the state government handled the situation, adding that people had closely observed these developments and therefore supported the BJP this time.

Satish Kumpala alleged that the state government is merely focused on retaining power, with no real development taking place. He remarked that instead of conducting a caste census, the government should have focused on filling potholes.

He further said that although the Congress came to power promising the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, Minister Hebbalkar had stated that there was no availability of ₹5,000 crore. He also accused the minister of providing false information during the Assembly session.

These remarks were made by BJP Mangaluru district president Satish Kumpala.
