Mangaluru: Unidentified man’s body found in Bengre Phalguni river

Mangaluru, January 1, 2026: The body of an unidentified man has been found in the Phalguni River at Bengre, within the limits of the Panambur Police Station.

The deceased is believed to be around 40–43 years old. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved denim shirt, a yellow and blue thick-striped T-shirt underneath, and black sports pants with colored lettering.

Panambur police have retrieved the body and sent it to Wenlock Hospital, sources said.
