Mangaluru: Two youths arrested for abducting, sexually harassing minor girl

Mangaluru, Jul 21, 2025: Mulki police have arrested two youths for allegedly luring, abducting, and sexually harassing a minor girl they had befriended on Instagram.

The accused have been identified as Deepak (19), a bus conductor from Badagubettu, Udupi, and his friend Naveen Shetty (21), a resident of Bhatripalke in Parkala, Atradi.

According to police sources, the duo abducted the girl on July 19 near Bappanadu using a scooter and took her to Udupi, where they reportedly sexually harassed her.

A case has been registered against the accused at the Mulki police station.
