Mangaluru: Two-wheeler rider dies in accident near Adyar

Mangaluru, Nov 25, 2025: A road accident near Somanatha Katte, located between Adyar and Valachil on National Highway 75, claimed the life of Iqbal (42), a resident of Adyar Kannur, on Monday afternoon.

Iqbal was reportedly riding his two-wheeler from Valachil towards Somanatha Katte when another bike coming from Pumpwell towards Valachil collided with his vehicle. He sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in the city, but despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries, traffic south police said.

Iqbal, who worked at Kallapu Global Market, is survived by his wife, a daughter, two sons and a large circle of relatives.
