Mangaluru: Two injured in serial accident at Karangalpady

Mangaluru, September 29, 2026: Two people were seriously injured in a chain accident involving a car, a goods auto-rickshaw and a two-wheeler on Court Road at Karangalpady here on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred when a goods auto-rickshaw travelling down the slope on Court Road collided head-on with a car entering Court Road from the Karangalpady side. The impact caused the goods auto-rickshaw to collide with a two-wheeler travelling on the same road.

The two-wheeler rider and the goods auto-rickshaw driver sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The car, goods auto-rickshaw and two-wheeler were badly damaged in the accident.

Traffic police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
