Mangaluru: Two held for attempting to sell ganja, MDMA near Bangra-Kulur river

Mangaluru, December 3, 2025: A case has been registered regarding an attempt to sell ganja and MDMA near the Phalguni river at Bangra-Kulur under the Kavoor Police Station limits, and the accused were arrested on Tuesday, December 2. The arrested persons are Shafi Ahmad and Mohammad Sameer, both natives of Tumakuru.

Based on information received about illegal ganja sales near the Phalguni river at Bangra-Kulur on the morning of December 2, a team led by Panambur ACP Srikanth K., along with Kavoor PSI Raghavendra Baindoor, PSI Mallikarjun, ASI Chandrashekar, and staff members Reji M., Halesh Naik, and Riyaz, conducted a raid.
