Mangaluru: Tree uprooted at Lalbagh due to heavy rain; no injuries reported

Mangaluru, May 20, 2025: A huge tree in front of the Pabbas ice cream parlour at Lalbagh uprooted due to heavy rains and strong winds on Tuesday morning. Luckily no one was injured in the mishap.

 

 

Presently rescue personnel are at the spot and are clearing the road of the tree branches. The MCC too has swung into action and is ensuring tree branches which are likely to fall over electric cables are cut.

The Weather Department has issued a warning of heavy rains across the district in the next few days.
