Mangaluru: Second PUC student ends life

Mangaluru, Aug 26, 2023: A second PUC student has ended his life by hanging himself at his house at Nalyapadavu in Shaktinagar on August 24, Thursday.

The deceased is Harshad Kaushal (17). He was studying at a private college in the city and was also a good Karatekar. He ended his life after returning home from college in the evening.

 

His parents were away at work while his grandmother and a relative girl were at home. At around 5.30 am Kaushal’s mother had called him but her calls went unanswered. So she immediately informed Kaushal’s grandmother who went upstairs only to find him hanging.

The reason behind his extreme step is not known. Kankanady police have registered a case.
