Mangaluru: Scooter rider killed after container truck hits from behind in Kuloor

Mangaluru, Jul 4, 2026: A scooter rider was killed on the spot after a container truck rammed into his electric scooter from behind near the VRL office at Bangrakuloor in Kuloor on Friday evening.

The impact of the collision threw the rider onto the road, following which the truck’s wheels ran over him, causing fatal injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Sadananda Shettigar, a resident of Thokur in Haleangady. He was riding his electric scooter through Kuloor when the accident occurred.
