Mangaluru: School girl sexually harassed by scooterist near Talapady

Mangaluru, Dec 01, 2021: A minor girl who was on way to school was  sexually harassed by a scooterist near Talapady Alankargudde on December 1, Wednesday morning.

 

The girl was passing through an interior road to catch a bus near the Talapady check-post, on her way to her school at Kotekar when the  stranger tried to molest her. As soon as the girl raised an alarm, locals gathered at the spot. However, the accused had managed to flee by then. The girl later lodged a complaint at Ullal police station with the help of locals.

Police are verifying available CCTV footages to gather clues regarding the accused. Locals say similar incidents have taken place in the area in the past.
