Mangaluru: Rare black panther rescued from well

Mangaluru, April 01, 2024: A rare black panther which accidentally fell into the well of a house at Sanila in Edapadavu was rescued by the Forest Department.

 

The panther fell into the well on Saturday night. The family members noticed the panther while drawing water. Immediately the Forest Department was informed.

The forest personnel with the help of locals managed to rescue the panther after a three hour long operation led by Forest Officer Rajesh Baligar.
