
Mangaluru, Oct 24, 2025: Vedic Inspirations, an art exhibition by Prof. Dr. Akhter Husain, will be inaugurated on October 25 at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru. The event will be inaugurated by Shri Veda Vyas, Hon’ble MLA, in the presence of Mr. Ivan D’Souza, Hon’ble MLC, Mr. Mithun Rai, Hon’ble KPCC General Secretary, Dr. Mohan Alva, Dr. Habib Rehman, Dr. U. T. Ifthikhar, and other distinguished guests.
The two-day exhibition, open to the public on October 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., will showcase twenty artworks that reinterpret India’s ancient Vedic heritage through a contemporary artistic perspective.
Prof. Dr. Akhter Husain, Administrative Director of the Centre for Craniofacial Anomalies and former Dean of Yenepoya Dental College, is a noted orthodontist, academic, and artist whose work bridges science, spirituality, and aesthetics. His artistic journey spans photography, digital design, and painting, embodying a lifelong quest for beauty, proportion, and harmony.
An Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (U.K.) and recipient of several national and international accolades, Dr. Akhter is known for his Trinergic art style—a unique blend of pixels, pigments, and 3D elements. His creations transform metaphysical concepts into visual meditations, exploring the harmony between form, feeling, and meaning.
Through Vedic Inspirations, Dr. Akhter aims to celebrate the universal spirit of oneness that transcends boundaries of faith, culture, and form.
