Mangaluru: Police seek public help to trace woman missing since 2018

Mangaluru, Nov 6, 2025: Police have appealed to the public for information regarding Jameela (35), a woman missing since May 25, 2018.

According to police, Jameela, wife of Shekhabb and a resident of Manjanady village in Mangaluru taluk, left home around 4 pm on May 25, 2018, saying she was going to Mangaluru city but never returned. Based on a complaint filed by her brother-in-law Shoukath Ali, a resident of Badyaru in Deralakatte, Ullal taluk, a missing person case has been registered at Konaje Police Station.

 

Missing case


Jameela is about 35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, wheatish in complexion, and of medium build, with a round face. She has studied up to Class 7 and was last seen wearing a black burqa. She is fluent in Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam, Beary, and Hindi.
