Mangaluru Photographer Ramanand Pai wins the Silver Award in KPA National Salon 2024 Photography Contest

Mangalore, August 09, 2024: Mangaluru-based photographer Ramanand Pai of Monark Studio has won the Silver Award in the prestigious KPA National Salon 2024 photography contest organised by the Karnataka Photographers’ Association, Bangalore. He won the prize in the ‘Wedding Rituals’ category for his photo titled ‘For a Lifelong Relationship’ from among 281 entries submitted by 77 photographers. Another photograph titled ‘Colors of Togetherness’ was also selected for FIP Honourable Mention under the same category. Two more photographs were accepted under the ‘Wedding Candid’ category and one each under the ‘Travel’ and ‘Color’ categories. A total of 248 photographers submitted 3046 entries in six categories for the contest.

The awards will be given on September 22, 2024, during the ‘Digi Image’ Decennial Celebrations of the Karnataka Photographers’ Association, to be held at Tripura Vasini Palace Ground, Bangalore. The photographs will be displayed in the exhibition section.
