Mangaluru : Oscar Fernandes still critical

Mangaluru, Jul 22, 2021: The condition of veteran Congress leader and Rajya Sabha Member Oscar Fernandes who is being treated at a private hospital in Mangaluru. continues to be critical.

 

The 80 year old leader had suffered a head injury after he fell while practising Yoga at his home on  Sunday.

He is in coma and a team of doctors is observing his health condition and a decision on a surgery may be taken after 36 hours.

Oscar’s wife Blossom Fernandes, son and daughter are at the hospital. Congress President Sonia Gandhi, leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have spoken to Oscar family over phone to know about his health condition.

Senior leaders B Janardhana Poojary, H K Patil and M B Patil had visited the hospital on Wednesday.
