Mangaluru: One accused granted bail in Praveen Nettaru murder case

Mangaluru, Mar 26, 2026: One of the accused in the murder case of BJP Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru has been granted bail. The bail has been granted to a man identified as Riyaz H.Y.

Praveen Nettaru was attacked and killed with deadly weapons by the accused on July 26, 2022, while he was on his way home. In connection with the case, the NIA had taken a total of 26 individuals into custody.

Reports state that Riyaz, a native of Somwarpet in Kodagu and the 26th accused in the case, has now been granted bail.
