Mangaluru, Sep 29, 2022: On the occasion of ‘World Heart Day - 2022’, Nitte Day Clinic and Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital in association with Indian Association of Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgeons, Mangalore organized a  World Heart Day programme on 29.09.2022 at Nitte Day Care Clinic, Pumpwell. More than 50 people have taken the opportunity of special packages offered on this day for Cardiac checkup.

Prof (Dr) P.S. Prakash, Dean, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy told in his speech that the modern life style habits are highly associated with heart diseases.  Hence, people should modify their lifestyle and adopt the dietary food to maintain the healthy regular life.  Heart friendly activities can prevent any disease and we have to maintain our body from heart or any other diseases.

Jayakrishnan, Cardiac-Thoracic surgeon stressed on the healthy routines to be participated in a daily routine to keep heart healthy. and Dr. Basavaraj Utagi, interventional cardiologist spoke on the importance of knowing the three values of every person. He also given the awareness talk on the importance of celebrating this special day and raising awareness in the public about the cardiac diseases will lowering the patient risk for developing heart disease and maintaining prevention of heart diseases.
