Mangaluru: New India lucky scheme victims protest, demand justice and strict action

Mangaluru, January 15, 2026: A protest demonstration was held near the Mini Vidhana Soudha Clock Tower in Mangaluru by victims who were cheated in the New India Lucky  Scheme. 

The protesters demanded justice for the victims, called for severe punishment for the person accused of defrauding hundreds of crores, urged protection of people from blade companies operating in the city, and insisted on shutting down the fraudulent lottery business. During the protest, the victims of the New India Lottery Scheme raised slogans and expressed their anger.
