Mangaluru : #MyCityMyBudget campaign launched ; citizens’ input sought

Mangaluru, Jan 21, 2021:     "MyCityMyBudget Campaign aimed at receiving inputs from the citizens of Mangaluru for the upcoming  budget of Mangaluru City Corporation,  was launched by MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar on January 19, Tuesday. The campaign is an initiative of Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy, a non-profit  NGO, in collaboration with the Mangaluru City Corporation. Harsha Raj Gatty, Communications Consultant of Janaagraha was present on the occasion.

As part of the campaign citizens can share their views on the  areas of priority that need to be laid emphasis in the budget through online or offline mode before 12 noon on January 22.

Citizens can submit their suggestions   by visiting the link www.janaagraha.org/mangaluru.  They can click the top three priorities  among the options available. Volunteers from Janaagraha will also visit various wards to elicit views of the public.
