Mangaluru: Mobile phones, beedi packets seized during inspection at District Prison

Mangaluru, June 30, 2025: Three mobile phones and two bundles of beedies were seized during an inspection in the district prison in Mangaluru.

The inspection was undertaken following the recent incidents of clashes among under trials.

Among the seized goods were two touch screen mobile phones and one keypad mobile phone.

A case has been registered in Barke police station.
