Stones Aligned in Rows: The stones were neatly aligned in rows on both tracks. Local resident Padma mentioned that this is the first time in 40 years they have heard such a loud sound. Around 8 p.m., women returning from the temple after offering prayers to Koragajja saw two strangers near the tracks, and it’s suspected that they were responsible for the act.

Following this, Anand Shetty from the Dakshina Kannada railway advisory committee, along with railway police and local law enforcement, visited the site to conduct an investigation.

According to the police, the incident appears to be an act of disruption, and further investigation is underway. Local residents have raised concerns about frequent gatherings of unidentified individuals beneath the overpass. They claim to have repeatedly reported these issues to the Ullal police and are now calling on authorities to take swift action before a more serious incident occurs. As a preventive measure, locals are requesting the installation of CCTV cameras in the area to deter future sabotage.
