Mangaluru: Minor rides two-wheeler; owner fined Rs 26,000

Mangaluru, Nov 6, 2025: The Fourth JMFC Court in Mangaluru has imposed a fine of ₹26,000 on a vehicle owner after her minor son was found riding a two-wheeler.

According to reports, the vehicle owner, Atijamma’s underage son, was riding the two-wheeler at Baikampady on October 10. A case in this regard had been registered at the Traffic North Police Station.

Following the hearing, the court held the owner responsible for allowing the minor to ride the vehicle and imposed a fine of ₹26,000.
