Mangaluru: Man slips to death in river

Mangaluru, Nov 21, 2023: A man who had been to the river side beneath the Maravoor Railway bridge for swimming, reportedly lost balance and drowned on November 20, Monday.

 

The deceased is Shakir (30) from Chokkabettu. Shakir along with four friends had been to the river  for swimming when Shakir reportedly slipped and drowned. His friends later brought the matter to the notice of the police and relatives. The body was then retrieved.

Kavoor police have registered a case.
