Mangaluru: Man dies in tragic bike accident near Kolya

Ullal, May 24, 2025: A tragic accident occurred last night near Kolya on National Highway 66, where a man lost his life after his bike skidded and he fell, sustaining serious injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Manoj Gatti (54), an electrician by profession and a resident of Pilaru Ambisadi in Someshwara village.

According to reports, Manoj was returning from the Bandi Utsava held at the Kondaana area of Kotekar when his bike skidded and he fell at Kolya. He sustained severe injuries and was thrown onto the road. Local residents immediately rushed him to a private hospital in Deralakatte, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries without responding to treatment.

Manoj is survived by his mother, brother, sister, wife, and only son.
