Mangaluru: MUDA employee hangs self at work

Mangaluru, June 2, 2023: In a tragic incident, a 36-year-old employee of the Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) ended his life at his workplace on Friday, June 2.

The deceased, identified as Keerthan Alape, a resident of Padil, was discovered hanging in the office’s storeroom. The motive behind his decision to take such a drastic step remains unknown.

Upon receiving the report, the local Urwa station police arrived at the scene and conducted a thorough investigation. According to preliminary information, Keerthan, who served as an SDA staff member, had arrived at the office on Friday morning as usual.
