Mangaluru: MCC officials evict unauthorized petty shops

Mangaluru, July 29, 2024: Several unauthorized roadside petty shops at Ladyhill, Mannagudda road and on the Airport Road near KPT were evicted by the City Corporation officials on Monday.

As many as 25 to 30 petty shops were evicted near Ladyhill. Four persons who came in the way of the operation were taken into custody. The evicted shops used to sell tender coconut, fast food, juice, panipuri and omlette.

MCC Deputy Commissioner Rekha Shetty, Health Officer Dr Manjayya Shetty and revenue officials were present.
