Mangaluru: Leopard spotted near house in Shaktinagar, residents alarmed

Mangaluru, Feb 19, 2026: A leopard was spotted near a house in Shaktinagar on the outskirts of the city, triggering concern among local residents.

The leopard was seen near the residence of Evelyn D’Silva of Cordel, Shaktinagar. The area has several houses and a large number of children, which has heightened anxiety among the locals. Residents have urged the Forest Department to take immediate and appropriate action before any untoward incident occurs.
