Mangaluru: Landslide on NH-75 halts Bengaluru-Mangaluru traffic again

Kadaba, July 28, 2025: A landslide occurred near Mannagudde in Kadaba taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, leading to the suspension of traffic between Bengaluru and Mangaluru. 

Due to unscientific construction works, the area has been experiencing frequent landslides. This morning, hundreds of vehicles were stranded as passengers struggled in the early hours. Clearing operations are underway. 

Last week, two major landslides had occurred at the same spot, prompting locals to express anger against the NHAI.
