Mangaluru: KSRTC extends Dasara special tour packages till October 7

Mangaluru, October 1, 2025: The Mangaluru Division of KSRTC has extended its Dasara special tour packages until October 7, following an enthusiastic response from travelers. The tours, which began on September 22, were originally scheduled to end on October 2.

The special package services covering routes such as Mangaluru–Madikeri, Mangaluru–Sigandur, and Mangaluru–Kollur will now run for an additional five days.

Between September 22 and 29, a total of 4,533 passengers used the package services, which included destinations like Sigandur, Kollur, Kateel, Madikeri, Udupi–Kollur, and Udupi–Sringeri.

In total, 112 buses were operated during this period, generating a revenue of ₹27,56,793, according to a statement from the Senior Divisional Controller of KSRTC Mangaluru Division.

The extension aims to accommodate the continued interest from devotees and tourists visiting key temples and popular destinations during the festive season.
