Mangaluru: Hyundai car with three students catches fire at Nanthoor; locals avert major mishap

Mangaluru, Nov 14, 2025: A Hyundai car caught fire at Nanthoor in Mangaluru on Friday, causing panic among commuters. The vehicle, in which three students were travelling, suddenly went up in flames.

Local residents quickly rushed to the spot and acted promptly to control the situation. They brought a water tanker and managed to extinguish the fire before it could spread further.

Thanks to the timely intervention of the locals, a major mishap was averted. No injuries were reported in the incident.
