Mangaluru: Goonda Act invoked against two criminals

Mangaluru, July 20, 2022: Police have invoked Goonda Act against the two accused in the case of brutal assault on  the staff of a chicken stall near Valencia Junction recently.

The accused against whom Goonda Act has been invoked are  Preetham Poojary alias Preethesh (26) of Jalligudde Bajal and Dheeraj Kumar alias Dheeru (27) of Ekkur. Both are accused in many other cases including murder attempt, kidnapping, assault etc.

Presently, both  are lodged in District Prison.
