Mangaluru: Fire at animal feed & agro shop near Pumpwell; goods worth lakhs destroyed

Mangaluru, July 30, 2025: A massive fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a shop dealing in animal feed and agricultural products near Pumpwell, causing extensive property damage.

The blaze, suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, quickly spread through the premises, destroying goods worth several lakhs of rupees.

 

 

Firefighters from Pandeshwar and Kadri stations promptly arrived at the scene and managed to bring the flames under control.

No casualties were reported, but the financial losses are estimated to be substantial. Authorities are probing the exact cause of the fire.
