Mangaluru: Duo arrested for cattle theft

Mangaluru, Dec 28, 2023: Bajpe police have arrested two persons at Tenka Edapadavu village on the charges of cattle smuggling in various places of Mangaluru.

 

Those arrested are Imran Ibrahim (24) of Padukonaje and Nasir alias Nachi (26) of Kallabettu. Two cars, a Swift and Ritz have been seized from the duo.

It may be recalled here that two cows and a calf owned by Chandan Upadhyaya form Kinnimajalu were reported stolen and butchered.
