Mangaluru: Congress protests BJP’s remarks against Rahul Gandhi

Mangaluru, Oct 07, 2023: The Congress staged a protest in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue  near the MCC office on October 7, Saturday to condemn the remarks of the BJP against party MP and leader Rahul Gandhi.

 

 

 

 

Addressing the protestors, senior party leader Ramanatha Rai said every Congress worker must protest against the BJP for its remarks against Rahul.

District Congress President Harish Kumar said the BJP led government has only seven months of life until the next election and exuded confidence that the Congress led government would come to power next.

Former MLA J R Lobo, former MLC Ivan D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde, Naveen D’Souza, Appi and other party leaders took part in the protest.
