Mangaluru: Car runs over labourers sleeping on footpath; 2 injured

Mangaluru, Nov 25, 2021: Two  labourers  who were sleeping on a footpath close by the Mangaluru Central Railway Station were injured after a speeding car which went out of control of the driver, ran over them on November 25, Thursday morning.

 

Nearly 10 labourers , most of them hailing from other states, were sleeping on the footpath when the  mishap took place.

The injured labourers have been shifted to Wenlock Hospital. Four vehicles which were parked in the area were also damaged after the car rammed against them.

Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case.
